Privacy and cookie policy

This policy explains how S-MOTO TEAM d.o.o. collects, uses and protects the personal data of visitors to petar.s-moto.hr and of customers, including data collected through cookies. The website is the presentation page of sales consultant Petar Strahija.

2. What data we collect

2.1. Data you provide to us

• Enquiry data: first name, last name, phone number, email, company name (if provided), buyer status (private person or company), payment method, vehicle link or description of the vehicle you are looking for, and notes.
• Calculator data, if you transfer it to the enquiry: vehicle price, down payment, term, calculated instalment or PPMV.
• Data and documents needed for the purchase, transport and registration of the vehicle, when you work with us.

2.2. Data collected automatically

• Technical data: IP address, browser and device type and time of visit, recorded by the hosting provider to run and protect the website.
• Visit source data: UTM parameters, campaign identifiers (gclid, fbclid), the first page visited and the referring page - stored in your browser and sent together with the enquiry.
• Website usage data via cookies, only with your consent (see section 6).

• responding to an enquiry and preparing an offer
• organising the purchase, transport and registration of the vehicle
• communication about our services
• meeting legal obligations (e.g. accounting)
• analysing visits and improving the website (with consent)

4. Legal bases

• Contract and steps prior to a contract - responding to an enquiry, the offer and organising the purchase (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Legal obligation - e.g. keeping accounting records (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• Consent - analytics and marketing cookies (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time.
• Legitimate interest - protecting the website and preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Recipients of data

We share data only when necessary for the purposes stated: with the hosting provider (Netlify), the service that forwards form enquiries to email (Web3Forms) and, with your consent, Google (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads) and Meta (Meta Pixel). When organising a purchase, data is shared with the vehicle seller, the carrier, the leasing company or bank and the competent authorities, to the extent necessary for purchasing and registering the vehicle.

6. Cookies

Cookies are small files that the website stores in your browser. We use necessary cookies to run the website and all others only with your consent.

Managing cookies

We keep enquiry data for as long as necessary to respond to the enquiry and for possible cooperation. We keep data from concluded contracts for the periods prescribed by law. We keep data processed on the basis of consent until you withdraw your consent.
